For people of faith seeking to follow divine guidance, it's important to distinguish true inspiration from our limited interpretations. When we believe God is communicating something to guide us, how do we discern the intended meaning from our assumptions and perspectives?
It's easy to project our preconceived notions onto inspired messages, bending the meaning to fit our desires or convenient narratives. However, letting go of assumptions to understand the essence of divine communication takes humility and openness.
Rather than clinging to initial impressions, we can pray for the Holy Spirit to illuminate the intended meaning that transcends our subjective lenses. The Spirit adapts communication to each individual's spiritual capacity, finding the right language and metaphors to convey timeless principles.
With an open and curious mindset, we can perceive divine lessons from various angles, shedding layers of assumptions. The Spirit may speak a universal truth to me one way based on my life experiences, and convey it differently to you, but the core message remains.
Authentic divine inspiration feels less like rigid dictation and more like gentle revelation into one's spiritual understanding. A message received with humility, not self-righteousness. Guidance is centered on unconditional principles like love, forgiveness, and service to others.
By releasing preconceived agendas, we make room for the Holy Spirit to broaden our perspectives. What we first interpret as a direct command may be a nudge to reconsider our biases. Divine inspiration enlightens those ready to listen.

I encourage YOU to employ what I call "Harmonic Leadership," which is a really evocative name. Let's explore the core philosophy behind that title and what it means to lead harmonically?
This is a concept I chose very intentionally. For too long, we’ve associated leadership with a single, loud voice—a soloist. But the most successful, innovative, and resilient teams don't operate like a solo act; they operate like a symphony or a great jazz ensemble.
Harmonic Leadership is built on a simple but profound idea: a leader's primary role is not to be the best player, but to create an environment where every musician (person) can play their best, together. It’s not about everyone hitting the same note—that's unison, not harmony. Harmony is when different, diverse notes combine to create a sound that's richer and more beautiful than any single note (person) could be on its own.
So, to lead harmonically means you are focused on tuning the team. You’re listening to the dynamics, blending ...
